A Quick Thought
Today is Reformation Day, a reminder that we are saved by grace through faith. You can start the morning free from guilt, because Christ has already dealt with it.
Today’s Morning Prayer
Praise
Lord, thank You for saving me by grace. I did not earn it, and I cannot lose it by failing.
Surrender
Father, I give You this Saturday: my rest, my family and my plans. Let Your will be done.
Freedom From Guilt
Thank You that You have removed my sins as far as the east is from the west. Help me to stop carrying what You have forgiven.
Freedom From Fear
Where I am anxious or tied to old habits, set me free. Help me to stand firm in the freedom Christ gave me.
Light
Keep me walking in Your light today, honest with You and kind to others.
Protection
Cover my family, my home and everyone out tonight or travelling today. Keep us safe.
Provision and Favour
Meet my needs, and let Your peace and favour fill our home.
Others
Show me someone who feels weighed down by guilt or fear, and help me to share Your grace with them.
A Short Declaration to Speak Aloud
There is no condemnation for me in Christ. I am forgiven, I am free, and I stand fast in that freedom today.
Closing Prayer
Thank You, Father, for hearing me. I walk into this Saturday forgiven and free. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Today’s Morning Action Step
Name one thing you have been carrying guilt about, and say aloud, “Christ has forgiven this.”
